Earnings cover is a band, not a safety score: up to 75%, 75–100%, above 100%, or unavailable where there is not enough data to compute it.

See the shape of your income before the year unfolds.

Map recorded, declared and estimated payments across the calendar, so uneven months and income gaps are clear before they arrive.

  • See income month by month, then open a month for the payments behind it.
  • Four statuses stay distinct: Recorded, Declared, Estimated, and timing unconfirmed.
  • Read the same year as a calendar or as a running agenda.

Look beyond yield. See how far earnings cover it.

A high yield can reflect strong income or rising concern. Openbook bands each holding by how far its earnings cover the dividend — up to 75%, 75–100%, above 100%, or unavailable when there is not enough data to work it out.

  • Read the cover band beside the yield on every holding.
  • Treat the band as a research prompt — it is not a safety score.
  • Where cover cannot be computed, the tab says so rather than estimating.

Every payment on record, in one searchable list.

Each dividend your portfolio has received or expects sits in one ledger you can search, with its status kept explicit rather than blended into a single number.

  • Search the ledger by holding and read every payment behind a month.
  • Recorded, Declared, Estimated and timing-unconfirmed payments stay labelled.
  • Export the whole ledger to CSV whenever you need it.

Know where your dividends really come from.

A diversified portfolio can still rely on a handful of companies for most of its income. Ranked contributors show that dependency clearly.

  • Rank every holding by the income it contributes.
  • See how much of the total your largest payers carry.
  • Run hypothetical income scenarios before anything changes.

Dividend tracking, explained.

It is an estimate of the next twelve months of dividends from the holdings you have recorded. Declared payments are more certain than forward estimates, and any dividend can be changed, postponed, or cancelled by the company.

Yes. The calendar and agenda lay the year out month by month, and opening a month shows the payments behind it. Each payment is labelled Recorded, Declared, Estimated, or timing unconfirmed, and the ledger can be searched and exported to CSV.

Current yield compares estimated annual dividend income with the current value of the tracked portfolio. Because both prices and dividend expectations can change, the displayed yield will also change over time.

No. A high yield can result from a falling share price or elevated business risk. Openbook bands each holding by how far earnings cover its dividend — up to 75%, 75–100%, above 100%, or unavailable. That band is a research prompt, not a safety score.

No. The Dividends tab is included on the free plan, alongside one portfolio of up to ten holdings and your headline scores. Pro adds up to ten portfolios and the deeper analytics.

No. Dividend tracking and related analytics are educational and informational tools. They do not guarantee future income or provide a recommendation to buy, hold, or sell an investment. For information only. Not investment advice. Capital at risk.
